On account of Pongal , a celebration was carried out in the AV Hall. Before the programme teachers prepared sweet Pongal to worship nature and Sun god.Then the celebration was started with our traditional pongal song,followed by a dance and a speech on Pongal was also presented and the students of V and VIII performed a dance to show the unity and significance of the important rituals associated with this harvest festival – Pongal. On behalf of the management and the principal,students were wished “Happy Pongal”.Children had a wonderful time. Finally the celebration come to an end with the sweet memories.
