We Kaviyans, celebrated the 117th birth anniversary of the Ex.chief minister K. Kamaraj with great enthusiasm and respect. The day was also celebrated as “Educational Development day” in recognition of his contribution to the development of education.

The celebration started with various competitions like Colouring, Storytelling, Collage, Speech, Drawing, Slogan, Poster making, Elocution to exhibit their hidden talents. All students participated with great interest and enthusiasm.

The students celebrated Kamarajar’s birthday with great pomp and show. Our tiny tots made up their mind and took the show in their hand. Students from various classes were on the dais with a wonderful speech, song and dance. Mr.Saravanan presented the speech about Kamarajar. The audiences were amazed and felt that Kamarajar himself was on the dais.
Indeed, it was a day of joy and respect for our great leader.
